The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids), affiliated with the University of Toronto, is Canada's most research-intensive hospital and the largest centre dedicated to improving children's health in the country. In 2022 Newsweek named SickKids as the No.1 paediatric Hospital in the world. As innovators in child health, SickKids improve the health of children by integrating care, research, and teaching. SickKids provides the best in complex and specialised care by creating scientific and clinical advancements, sharing knowledge and expertise, and championing the development of an accessible, comprehensive and sustainable child health system. SickKids are working with Micregen on various pre-clinical studies.

Great Ormond Street Hospital

London

Together, Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) and the UCL Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health (ICH) have been at the forefront of many breakthroughs in paediatric medicine. In 2022, Newsweek named GOSH as the No. 3 paediatric hospital in the world.Micregen has worked with specialists at GOSH for over ten years, on various pre-clinical studies and for clinical advice in preparation for clinical trials. Micregen, partnered with UCL, were awarded an MRC grant to part-fund a PhD programme led by Dr Loukogeorgakis with Dr Sivaraj, which aims to collect valuable data into the use of Secretomix as a therapeutic option in NEC.

This programme is led by Dr. Stavros Loukogeorgakis and Dr. Jay Sivaraj, both recognised experts in neonatal research and regenerative medicine.

THE UNIVERSITY OF BRADFORD

BRADFORD

The University of Bradford is collaborating with Micregen on studying the validation of Secretomix® as a therapeutic for Neurodegeneration. The studies have been designed to determine the efficacy of Secretomix® in various disease models.

Washington University School of Medicine is recognised as one of the top 10 medical schools in the United States. Micregen is collaborating with a world renowned neonatal surgeon and professor on its research into Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia and other neonatal lung indications
